Things people ask
Can I really use the free tier in a commercial product?
Yes. KJV and ASV are public-domain in the United States. You can ship them in a paid app, an ad-supported site, or anywhere else without owing us — or anyone else — a license.
What happens when I hit my monthly cap?
Requests return a 429 with a Retry-After header pointing at the next period reset. Upgrade and the cap lifts within seconds.
Do you do annual pricing?
We will. For now, monthly only — paying yearly would just trap you in our pricing if we change it.
What if I just want to test things out?
Start free — 30 req/min, 2,500 requests a month, KJV and ASV. Plenty for a prototype or a side project.
